May we remember that while we’re entering a new year, the winter season has just begun. A season that asks us to familiarize ourselves with slowness, rest, observation, inner wisdom, gaining clarity, la vie d’ermite, recovery, oneness.
Before we start new practices, build, and bring things to life, may we pair down. May we be in practice with surrender, loss, and letting go. May we spend ample time in the warm womb of winter, gestating, dreaming, and opening ourselves to clarity of that which is truly meant for us.
Remembering that if we take our time, take inventory of our lives, and let go of that which we no longer need, we can enact (and be ready for) dreams in action."
